I had one - didn't actually sell it, but donated it to a guitarist in need.
They are awesome guitars!

I don't like the high action & stiff feel that is common to many acoustics. The GS Mini is particually bad in that respect.

A bit ukelele'ish :)
Sounds like it needs a good set-up.  My GSM's are very comfortable and that seems to be the general consensus among owners.

Yes, but the way mine came I'm looking at more than a setup.

It needs quite a bit of hacking & sanding to the bridge to get the action anywhere near low enough, so I just left as is.

A good tech would recognize and do what it needs.

I currently have two, a mahogany and a spruce  e-version. I just read that the 2016 e-versions will be equipped with the real ES-2 system. Bought mine a couple of months too early ;-)

I might be considering the Koa version as well, because it is a great way to compare different tops without spending too much money. One single all solid Koa Taylor will costs more than three GS Mini's.

I really like my GS Mini's and the difference between hog and spruce is big for me. I wish they both had a better action (there is still some margin left for improvement) but it is acceptable.

I wonder how they will sound with Light Gauge strings. The Medium Gauge feel pretty flexible already due to the short scale.
