My GS Mini has been out on loan for well over a year now. Maybe it'll come back home with some good mojo. 8)

Deep down I bet you have come to the conclusion that it is never coming back.  You might as well go get a new one. ;D

Hey! my vote just put it over 22%. Tho I did have three at the same time about a year ago. Last one I sold online was a 2012 Mahog about 4 months ago. Now i just have a regular issue Koa. IMO these guitars look better without a pick guard. 8)

17 Academy Series A12
12 Fender FSR DG Black Strat
15 Epiphone Les Paul Standard
16 Fender Squier Classic 50's Strat

I agree, specifically the mahogany and koa minis.

I voted "I own one..." because we currently have one, even though it is for sale.  My wife likes her CA Cargo better than her mahogany topped GS Mini, so it rarely gets played any more.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

It would also be nice to see how the results on here compare with those from the more generic AGF...
The similar (with less choices) poll that I did on the AGF (Sept 2011) ended as follows:

"I'm a Taylor owner and do also own a GS mini" ...................... 50 (37.04%)
"I'm a Taylor owner, but do not own a GS mini"....................... 77 (57.04%)
"I only own 1 Taylor, a GS mini"..........................................   8 (5.93%)

Since that time, it looks like a lot more Taylor owners have taken the plunge into the GS mini world.

Of course, this is all unscientific....just for fun.  ;)

That's scientific enough for me, and as I've seen it on the internet, it must be true!

Thanks for the update Susie...

I've had my Mini-M for over 5 years and it's my primary travel guitar. I loaned to my grand niece for a few months but got it back when she got a small Breedlove.

I was REALLY glad I had it on a cruise I was on last month when I broke my ankle. It's the one thing that kept me from going crazy when I was stuck in our cabin until we got back!

I gave mine to my stepdaughter last November. I'll be on the lookout for a special one to replace it in the not too distant future.
What one are you on the lookout for, SF?

I don't have a particular one in mind -- it will probably reach out and grab me during a visit to a music shop. I'm guessing it'll be some sort of limited model.
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

1997 Cujo14 - old growth cedar/black walnut
2014 K24e - master grade koa
2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany
2019 614 - torrified sitka spruce/flamed maple
2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

I just received a GS Mini-e R/W which I bought from an online retailer that had used several of them as demos, so I got it for a great price. I was concerned when I found out stock images were used in the ad. However, I am very happy with it and I was very pleased when strumming that first chord. Sounds full-size, and though I have large hands relatively easy to negotiate. I have never owned a travel guitar before so nothing to compare it to other than my GA3. I am looking forward to taking this baby with me on future trips, and for convenience in the house!

Just got my Mini hog last week, and I love it. The easy playability combined with the great tone and surprising volume make this so much fun to play! No wonder so many people own one here.

Also, I am a big fan of the ES Go. Took me less than 5 minutes to install!

I have 3 GS Mini's and my favorite is the Koa then the Rosewood.
It travels very well on the mattress in our teardrop trailer.
A friend will only buy used and wants a Taylor real bad, so I've offered the Mahogany one to him at a good price.

I drool over this used Maple one but can't justify the big bucks.

Ah, glad to see I'm not the only one with GSMx3! I guess they're like Lays potato chips.

I have had my GS Mini Koa just on three years.

It survives the high temps & humidity we get and I can take it out of it's gig bag after say 6 months & don't even need to tune it.

Seems to be aging nicely too.

Not bad, but at the end of the day I'm still a devoted strat & tele player.

I don't like the high action & stiff feel that is common to many acoustics. The GS Mini is particually bad in that respect.

A bit ukelele'ish :)

Sounds like it needs a good set-up.  My GSM's are very comfortable and that seems to be the general consensus among owners.
