Banned from AGFORUM?!?!

So, I was banned from AGFORUM...reason? I replied to a post where someone was selling their Taylor 717e and I offered to trade for my DC-18e... seriously? I know that only members can post there for sale...but come on, it was truly an honest mistake and perhaps a warning would be sufficient???

Also, I did push a thread there about Martin QC issues, maybe some sponsors did not like much and complained...this is speculation on my part.

Oh well, the community there seems fun and nice folks but either the forum is overly moderated or it is owned by Martin "fans."

That seems very odd to me. I've not been part of that forum since it became a forum for all acoustic guitars, but their decision seemed quite arbitrary....

There is one particular moderator over there who gets..... inconsistently overzealous (being kind) and is the sole reason that I am not a supporting Charter Member.  Fortunately we don't have that issue here at UTGF.  I would not bother with AGF at all these days if not for the carbon fiber room of that forum, CF instruments being my main interest these days.

Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
