Recommendations for portable audio interface

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a portable audio interface to use for recording with a (Windows) laptop or tablet.

I'm looking for something with two quality pre-amps and an A/D converter that's the best bang for the buck. I've been looking at the Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo and the Apogee Duet thus far.

I am not qualified to make a recommendation , but I have  recently purchased the Scarlet 2i2 .So far so good , but I  am a newbie with very limited experience and  knowledge of recording. I thought it was very reasonably priced.

I just picked up the Audient id4 after lots of research and although I am a relative newbie to music recording this unit has amazed me so far
I have teamed it up with cakewalk an amazing free DAW( cant believe they just give it away) and i find it does all that's advertised and more.
Two inputs, powered by the usb port, phantom power a very cool monitor mix and really nice preamps. I did alot of research and didnt want to have problems with drivers and such I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I am running it on a windows 10 laptop
