ES SOUNDBOARD PICKUP RE-FIXING
« on: November 10, 2018, 12:17:21 PM »
Hi I have a GC7 with the original Es system installed , on examining the guitar while replacing the strings I found one of the soundboard pickups had come away ,I have re-stuck it but it keeps coming away ,please could anyone recommend a suitable glue or tape to do the job without detriment to the guitar , thanks in advance,Mike.

I've never had that problem.  Are you talking about the magnetic sound board sensors glued to the underside of the top?  There are stories of those sensors failing, but not of simply falling off.  This really seems like a question for Customer Service on Monday.  I don't even want to guess as to the right way to approach this.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
