The strings are on backorder, but Sweetwater expects them to be in stock soon. I ordered two sets. Thanks for the heads up.  :)

Sweetwater called me today. They won't honor the backorder on these strings and blamed Elixir for the problem. Anyhow, Guitar Center has some good deals on 3-pack Elixir's, but not available until November 12th. I ordered some Nanoweb PB HD lights, Nanoweb PB mediums, and gonna try the OPTIWEB light electric strings. Let's see what happens.

Good thing Elixir's last so long. :)

Wow!  Perhaps I got lucky but when I called them today asking for an ETA since it had been 2 weeks, they informed me that it had been discontinued...however, they agreed to send me the order as separate sets.  The guy I worked with is Zach, and I’ve really been impressed with his can-do, get-it-done attitude.  This is a killer deal as it would have cost $95 regular price, and my total came to $40

I received an email from Sweetwater today. They shipped me the strings. 4 sets of PB lights ($6 each) and 2 sets of  OptiWeb lights ($8 each). Guess I'll keep Riley on my Christmas list. :)

That is so awesome to hear!  BTW- I got the same order you did!

I only first started ordering from them a few months ago to get accessories, etc.  I have been very impressed with the courtesy and speed of delivery.  They didn't have to do what they did for either one of us, but they will have my business for accessories and lower priced guitars in the future.  As a former brass player, I dealt with several big box stores, before and after they got swallowed up by GC, and none of their service came close to Sweetwater.

Related to this purchase, I have another question for the forum.  I bought this deal only because it was a decent discount off the Elixir PB nanoweb acoustics, and I'm getting two sets of free Optiweb strings with the deal.  I don't own a single electric guitar, but I checked the gauge on these, and they are nearly identical in gauge to acoustic extra lights.  Do y'all think I could use these for my Backpacker?  The backpacker clearly says on the soundhole label to only use extra lights.
