Any good guitar shops in Portland, Oregon?
« on: April 03, 2018, 04:09:46 PM »
Every time I visit a new city, I take a look at the local guitar shops.  Last year, on a trip to Portland, I visited two of them, although I can't remember the names.  They were very mediocre, with mostly low-end brands and price points.

I'm going to Portland again in a week, so I'd love to know if there are any good shops I should know about?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Portland Music Company!  We used to have a user from that store here, but I haven't seen her in on the forum in ages.

An update:  I went to the Portland Music Company store on Broadway, and was very pleasantly surprised by what a good shop it is.  Lots of high-end guitars to try out.  Thanks for the recommendation.

So you must have gone to the old store location that just closed on May 1?

I guess so.  I wasn't aware that they were preparing for a move, since I saw no signs of it.  Where is their new location?
