I've decided to part ways with my 2003 Taylor Pelican Presentation Grade 14 as a part of changing out a few guitars. I don’t buy and sell often rather find a guitar that is easy for me to play, sounds great and is very functional for my purposes. I keep guitars usually for a long time and play them at home, small groups and on occasion, in front of others. The spouse of the worship leader that was recently using the guitar as of late bought them a new (and their own) 714 so the Pelican reluctantly came back to me.
This is about a sweet and unique a Taylor as one might come across.
In 2003 Taylor built only 63 guitars out of this presentation grade myrtle wood and other materials including the ocean themed Pelican inlays. All of the inlays are intact, no cracks, splits, chips, scratches, always cared for, properly humidified and stored when not in use - just one very small tap on the soundboard that Taylor CS pointed out to me last time it was in for it’s setup and my friends at Taylor CS said they would touch up and buff out for $65.
I am the original registered owner.
It's sweet.

NO LONGER FOR SALE plus any shipping and funds transfer fees such as paypal.
Not looking for any trades as I have a potential build scheduled to start shortly.
You can’t order this today - Taylor is not offering Myrtle and hasn’t for quite some time - cost of the inlays alone would be over $1400.00
Let me know if you have any questions -
If you as the buyer wants, you can have 48 hours to check it out but will have to cover all shipping and insurance costs and your choice of carrier.
