Price increase on GS Minis
« on: May 03, 2015, 06:37:56 PM »
Anyone have any idea why the price of a Sapele GS Mini and a GS Mini-e RW just went up $30 everywhere?

Inflation is my guess. Their costs go up, so do ours.

A couple of dealers told me there was a price increase coming in May, guess they were right.

So that's it! I was in GC yesterday and noticed the price jump. I thought maybe it was just them, but I guess not. Too bad.

In all fairness, the price of the basic GS Mini has been stable for 2-3 years now.  I know that my business has raised its prices in the last three years.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

I had a post censored once because I said I got three sets of strings for a Hamilton and a Jackson.
