Very old thread here, but I wanted to update mine and to see what some of the new folks have for there herds.  Just for fun.

Both of those guitars were very nice guitars.  I let the 716ce go because of size, I wanted to get a 714ce.  By the time I found and got the 714ce my tastes were moving towards mahogany tone.  Now that I have plenty of mahogany guitars, I miss that 714ce.  However, I want to pick up something in a X12 body size, maybe a 712e or 812e or no e.
Curious as to what will come out of El Cajon after NAMM.

In the same boat as you, have only owned 2. Total non-Taylor guitars owned, though, is a number far higher! Have owned 5 simultaneously, plus a banjo and a fiddle... she can't be too hard on you for owning just 3!
