Well a little back ground on how I got to this guitar. I've been through 5 Taylor's in a months span. I first bought a used 2007 ga8

I liked it but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for so I bout a sight unseen from guitar center 1998 k20c it was shipped to me from Louisiana.

I absolutely love the way it played and sounded but when I brought it to my tech. He informed me it was actually refinished. Ugh. So back it wen t and I took the money and went elsewhere. I found a used but flawless less than a month old 2012 gc5e.

I really liked this guitar a lot but the cedar top and grand concert body was not a good fit for an only guitar and broke up really fast when strummed. So sold it actually for a profit and bought a used 2003 710ce.

Well I just couldn't stand the fishman blender and having a gigantic hole in the side of my guitar so I traded it in to guitar center. They were having a sale anything you trade in you get a big chunk off what you buy. I got a 2003 614ce l2 in blue burst with the paua top purfling inlays and rosette. It didnt stay for 24 hours. When my wife came home and told me what was I thinking buying a girls guitar. Lol. So here I am with the absolute best guitar I have ever seen or played. I still think I'm in some sort of dream and can't believe its really mine. Anyway thanks for listining to my quest to find MY Taylor. It's perfect and I hope to keep it forever. She is a beauty for sure.

Welcome Sal. Wow! That is one heck of a guitar you have there - lovely!

You had a fascinating, and very quick, journey to find your ideal... five guitars in a month! We thought that fourteen guitars in nine years was a lot (we still have seven of them), but finding something that speaks to you musically and aesthetically is magical. Well done, and enjoy that beaut for many years to come.

What an amazing beauty!!! Congratulations on finally finding one you truly love! There are MANY gorgeous Taylors out there, but it isn't always as easy to find one with an equally gorgeous tone. And I don't mean that in a negative sense towards Taylor; what I mean is that tone is subjective, and two identical guitars can sound very different. One can sound amazing while another may not move you in the same way (yet it will move someone else). Kudos for keeping at it to find this one! :D

Definitely one of the nicer finishes coming out of El Cajon in a long time.
