Grand Symphony Bliss!

Well I just have to say it. This is The Best Guitar I have ever played and I have played quite a few over the years. When I bought this one I thought, yea...the novelty will wear off, the strings will deaden a bit and the honeymoon will be over...No way Jose!
This puppy just keeps on giving...tons of headroom and I would swear there are harmonies being sung when I am strumming hard and singing. Also the lightest fingerpicking is just plain delicous. What a Guitar!!

It really is a great feeling when you have something special that, over time,
reasserts
is worth! The honeymoon fades, but true love endures!
...wait, we are talking about guitars, right?
Congrats!

ditto that!!... That was my exact thoughts after purchasing a Custom GS (cedar/rosewood)! I was shocked by the tone... after playing and owning other (production line) Taylors. The closest I can remember it sounding like was a 714 I played in the late 90's). Anyway..welcome to the forum, and enjoy that guitar.. I am sure others who hear it will share your joy!

Thanks guys...I really do feel very fortunate...this guitar is exactly the sound I was looking and listening for all these years! Actually I didn't think it could sound this good...my hat is off to Bob Taylor!!!

I agree. For me, the GS is the perfect size. Larger than a GA, but smaller than a Dread. With a sound that mimic both....well at least to my ears.

Congratulations on a beautiful GS.
I LOVE the GS body, I also love those Gotoh 510s, my favorite tuners.
