i know how solid koa and sitka/koa sounds, never heard/played a cedar top/koa back/sides.
are the overtones huge?   tell me what this combo does together.

the one i'm looking at is a GA size body.

thanks

is it a custom GA?  Never played one....I wonder if the warmness of the cedar and the brightness of the koa would cancel eachother out...

Not to hijack the thread, but I've often wondered why we are quasi-locked into certain wood combos.  Say why not cedar top w/ maple back and sides etc...and other weird combos...

not a custom, just an older one for sale

it may be in our classifieds here-if not i'll PM the owner and let him know to stick it here too.
appears to be a nice condition, spoke with the owner a few times, seems like a stand up guy.
not sure the combo would be what i'm looking for though-always looking for that something or other thats out there.

I don't want to sound pessimistic but the only koa I liked are the recent ones with CV bracing
