Welcome to the UTGF, Jake! Down the road you should still be able to purchase a new 714ce, but your chances of finding a nice cedar/walnut limited will be MUCH more difficult! I think you made the right choice!

Thanks all>> Just bought my Taylor yesterday. It's in shop now getting some strings I hope I can play on in that I've played nylon. Bought what seems to be one of the last remaining spring 2011 414ce cedar-walnut ones. Loved the sound when someone other than myself played it.. could have gone for the 714 rosewood for about the same money.. I hope I don't have buyers regret. Tell me I was right.LOL

Congrats Jake on your new geetar. That wood combo sounds like it would be really nice and as it has been mentioned, Taylor knows how to do cedar. I have a cedar topped limited GA that is one of my favorites. Hope you grow to know each other well!

And JR, congrats on 1000. I still remember that day I got the pm from you telling me about this place. Has really shaped up nicely.
