Congratulations on two very good-looking instruments. I think the hog top GS mini is an excellent, inexpensive option for those who might be timid about investing a lot on a hog top guitar. They do sound wonderful, and yours is a real looker! Not to be outdone, your 712 just oozes class! Great-looking rosewood back and binding! Sometimes a camera's flash will cause that mismatched look on a guitar's top. (I've been there once or twice.) No worries. Have fun getting to know your new acquisitions!
