New Truss Rod Cover

I was looking for a way to ininvasively personalize my 814ce and I found Bill Nichols, Nichols Inlays.

Looks terrific, ebick! Bill Nichols created this custom TRC from a pic of a pewter key chain. He does fantastic work! :)

He had that one on his site and I really liked it.  The materials in the circle around the bolt are a close match to the rosette.

About how long do they take to complete?  I just sent an enquiry to Bill regarding a custom TRC - haven't yet received an estimate, but wonder what your experience has been?

when I ordered mine, he told me he was 6-8 weeks out on orders.....that means before he starts yours.....it ended up being 8.  Once started however, he was done in just a couple of days.

I placed the order for my first one on 3/27 and added the second a month later. I believe he is shipping them together. I am not sure if that changes my timing but originally he told
me 6-8 weeks as others have mentioned.

Mine took about the same length of time. I do know that at one point in time, Bill was going through some medical issues which made the delay even longer. Please know he is a stellar guy and does absolutely BEAUTIFUL work! His TRC's are definitely worth the wait! :)
