Got my new BTO from Jim at Guitar Rodeo, see pics below. Specs are:
* GA, with AA rosewood and Sitka top
* koa binding and bound soundhole
* short-scale neck
* neck stained dark to match the rosewood body
* cut diamond fret markers
I love the tone -- it's much fuller, richer and deeper than I expected from a GA-size body. I also have a gorgeous BTO GS in rosewood/spruce. I was looking to have a smaller body GA with the short-scale neck and light gauge strings, for a more intimate "living room" guitar. I used to have a 514-C (which I traded to fund the GS), and I kind of missed that body size. It's so comfortable to hold and play while sitting down.
Anyway, not sure that the pics do justice to it, but the koa binding is a really awesome touch!
