Awesome guitar, great pix!  No worries here about large pictures, you'd be more likely to hear complaints about small blurry pictures.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks the smell of a guitar is a nice feature!
Enjoy it!

The guitar looks very happy lying in the grass.  I am sure you were probably happier lying next to it!

It looks awesome.  Congratulations!

Wow. Gorgeous, just gorgeous. I've always loved the 8xx series and the LTDs are always so nice. How do you like the sound? I've never had the pleasure of playing cocobolo.

Thanks for all the positive replies. As for sound. I'm probably not the best to describe this but I'll try. First of all, I was used to playing an Ovation Elite shallow bowl acoustic for the past 22 years so my baseline is much different than this guitar has to offer. I absolutely love the neck, especially at the nut. The Ovation was way too narrow. The sound is much bigger too. Duh! I only played it for a short period of time but It has a nice overall tone. From what I read about Cocobolo I was expecting a much brighter/harsher high end. Not bright or harsh at all to my ears. It has a certain shimmer that other guitars I've played didn't have. The bass is nice but not overpowering at all. A really nice balance across the spectrum. I'm going to change the strings and have it set up a bit more to my liking. I got factory specs from Taylor today so tonight I'm going to check the height of the stings at the 12th fret and see if it's still within factory specs. The guitar went from California to New York and then here to Arizona. I'm going to give it a few days to acclimate also. I'm sure some of the slightly harder playing is my lack of practice on an acoustic. I really didn't play the Ovation much but it did play very easy so I'm comparing the playability between the two. Did I mention that is smells wonderful!!!!!!!!!
Thanks,
Carl
