Taylor guitar question

Hey guys, I recently bought a used second-hand Taylor 210 guitar. But soon after I got home I realised the sticker inside the guitar says its a model "210-g". I checked the Taylor website and there isn't a model "210-g" listed there, only the normal 210. May I know why my guitar has a "g" on its model number? What difference does the 210-g have from the original 210? Or did I buy a fake Taylor guitar?

As for the 210-G...I'm not quite sure...but there are hundreds of more knowledgeable people here that know a lot more about Taylors than I do...I'm sure they'll chime in!

Actually, it doesn't.

Originally, the 200 had a gloss top. Then the specs changed to where they had a satin top. When the 200 Series went back to a gloss top, the "G" after the model number to denote a gloss top.

It doesn't have anything to do with it having a gig bag...

the baby, big baby & 100 series had a GB designation for a while (for gigbag)

the 200 series didn't have a GB designation because it never came with a gigbag -
it was either a hardshell case (03-early 09) or a hardbag, which, imho, offers better
protection than the flat-top lid hardshell cases (especially the last series made)

there was also the 97 614 GB (Gerry Beckley) model
