That was just gorgeous, Rick.  I'd ask why my 814 doesn't sound that good, but I'm afraid I already know the answer.

Probably for the same reason as mine.  I think it's the strings we have installed...

Thanks everyone for the kind feedback.  Here's how it was recorded:

The first track was 2 condenser mics ... the second track was done with the ES running into a Loudbox Artist and then straight to the mixer.  I used a Beringher XENYX 1202FX Mixer into my laptop with Audacity.

I am no expert on recording and am still learning.  I try and keep it simple.  I was most surprised at how good the ES to Loudbox to mixer sounded.  I might experiment a little more with that.

Yep, that was my question.  And thank you Scriptor for letting us know.  Sounds like you used a very simple set up, which turned out fantastic!  Very nicely done sir.
