NGD 2007 DN 5

Got this mint DN 5 off EBay from an ol' boy in N. Mississippi. The top is darkening really well, and the Hog is RED. You can drive a bus under the strings, but I know a guy in S. Mississippi that can fix that pronto,and never crank my car.






If my older son doesn't take to it, it may be for sale in about a month. If he likes it ,a 410-CE LTD (EIR) may be.(Can't recollect the year)

I've been a fan of the GS5.

After seeing your DN5 now I'm a fan of that one too!

They (DN5) seem to be more rare than the GS5.  I don't think I've ever seen one until your pics.

I use to have a 2004 510 and it sounded great, although I have traded my 710ce and the 510 in for the GA body style.  I like the body style of the GA  it just fits me better, the DN has a very good tone.

i had a 06 DN Proto that had the aesthetics of a DN5 (with scarfjoint headstock) &
the 'guts' of a RTS3 (body shape/taper, solid lining & sides braces) ...
to my ear, the tone was 'lacking', but i like the DN too - the older sitka/rosewood
models really 'have it', imho, & there's an especially nice 410MA that recently
joined the stable & it will likely be my 'bench-mark' for a large body maple
