MichaelW:  I don't think I ever saw an Ibanez AG75 but now you've ruined my morning....I want one!

Come on now, Go Navy, you just got the 812.  You're not entitled to any GAS for at least 4-6 months!  HA!  :P

Key is if you can bring G.A.S under control ... but for sure you can't control the onset!

It seems to be dormant right now, other than an occasional twitch.  I think wine helps to quiet things down.

hi Navy,
imho, the AG75 is a really nice guitar (tone & playability), & there
may be a minor aesthetic imperfection here or there, even on a
'1st quality' one but overall it's a lot of fun & great value for the $

with a little looking around, a clean used one can be
found for a Grant less than what a new BT MAPs for

to quote Ferris Bueller
'it is so choice. if you have the means, i highly recommend picking one up' ;)

Thanks, the L-5 sounds good, even unamplified, although it is a very different sound, to be sure.
I noted "Guild X-175" in your signature line - a VERY nice jazz guitar (ridiculously undervalued). Guilds are great guitars, whether electric or accoustic.  I purchased this SF III new in the early 'nineties:

These instruments, in my opinion, are great investments - at least the ones made in Westerley prior to the Fender takeover.
Ditto on the Guilds. I have an X-170, SFIV and many, many acoustics. Heck of a value.

Yeah.  Michael did it again.  He posted pictures of 2 beautiful blue/blue-ish guitars.  I just like that hue of blue.  Oh well, if I hang out here I guess I have to accept the "consequences".   ;D

Zeebow.....if you're asking about the 812ce/Cedar, I love it. I use a pick with a light attack, and it has a beautiful, warm tone, balanced across and up/down the fretboard.  I can't believe the sustain, too.

The action was a tad too high on the low E side, so I have a Taylor authorized tech adjusting that for me right now.
