Thanks everyone.  I have seen a ton of great conversation.  This site will be a GREAT place to be since that other forum decided to un-invite our little corner of their world.

Hi Mike,
good to see you here :)
WELCOME !i'm hoping that this will be a great place to hang out, in & of itself,
as the AGF did what was best for them in merging their 2 acoustic steel string
guitar subforums into one, which makes their forum unique, as well as ours here

looking  forward to hearing more from you &
please make yourself comfortable :D

All I know is that I drove through Wyoming once, and not on 80, but on a route from just west of 25 that went diagonally through the state on the way to the Gran Tetons.  One of the most beautiful drives of my life!

Dougboy you probably went on Hwy 287 to the Tetons, and yes Wyoming does have some beautiful scenery and some desolate areas as well.

DMZ Sheridan is a place I have rarely been to, but I have gone through it.

I've been through Laramie many times.  I lived in Newcastle when I was a youngster.  Oh yes, I do remember how cold the winters were.  Summers were great though....no doubt!
