I just heard that one of the spring limiteds will be an all carbon travel guitar with a folding neck. Please don't tell anyone where you heard about it.  ;)

Hahaha ... and so it begins, five weeks before April Fool's Day.

Would be great if Taylor began focusing more on non-cutaway models....

Taylor is a manufacturer. They're going to concentrate the lion's share of their efforts on those models which sell best.

That would be CE models...

I get that, but still wish that non-cutaways weren't treated like quasi-specialty items...

there were 36 non-cutaway models added this year

in most recent memory, there have been some LTD non-cutaway models -
06 410 & 410eLTD walnut, 07 GS4eLTD tasmanian blackwood, 08 GSeLTD C/K
09 parlor, 10 810eLTD, spring 11 DN, GC, GA & GS-LTD mahogany & NS24eLTD

a 'vintage/legacy series' would be pretty cool, imho, along with
some models that were never standard in the 'numbered series'
such as the 514, 614, 812, 912, 914, w12, w14, k14 ...
i'm guessing there might be some interest in the current models in a
no c, no e configuration, perhaps the 714, along with the 514 & 814 ???
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...
