They were obviously resonating from the ambient frequencies.
Was very cool!

I have noticed that my 114ce is one of the most resonant guitars I've owned ... I leave it out (keep my other Taylors in the their cases) ... even when I am playing another instrument in the room it will vibrate and the strings in the sympathetic frequency ranges will fill in some harmony ... :)

I was recently A/B'ing some guitars at The Podium and it was interesting to notice that some of them vibrated and felt lively when other people were playing nearby.

I played my first bunch of Taylors in small deluxe enclosed showroom with the walls completely lined with Taylor guitars.  When the salesman came back the second time to check on me, I ask jokingly if he had some trick device installed in the room to make all the guitars sound wonderful. He smiled and pointed to all the guitars on the walls.

I fell in love with Ovangkol.

It happened again last night.  I just let the guitar ring and enjoyed the vibrations of the top (cedar in this case).  Abosolutely stunning!
