I have always wanted to become proficient at fingerstyle and I am hoping this new guitar is going to help. That's the intent anyway.

Yup. It's called spending forward!

I did get those strings changed. I like the EXPs. I'm sure the Pearse sound good new but the J-45 is likin' the new strings.
