Do you live in the Southern Hemisphere? Then the Coriolis force from the Earth's rotation would help with counter clockwise stirring. The Northern Hemisphere encourages clockwise stirring / swirling. My source of caffeine is Diet Mountain Dew, and I don't stir it. Never been a fan of coffee, although I love the smell of it brewing. Tea is OK when eating Chinese food, but otherwise I can pass.

I guess I'm just a backward stirrer, but I am consistent since I stir in the same counter-clockwise direction with either hand. If I stir on the kitchen table instead of the counter, what should I call it? Heads?
Kind of like how I hit a baseball. Right handed, I'm a pull hitter. Left handed, I'm an opposite field hitter. Must be because I went to college in Boston. I'll call it the Fenway Park effect.
