I'd like your opinions on this. I want to modify, tone-down the high E on my guitar. I've done all the changing brands of strings with no noticeable effect. Bob Colosi has these.

I have the E Ivory saddle from Bob Colosi on my GC3 and it helped the high E and B immensely, I was getting what to my ears was a Gerry tinny sound. Then I switched to Phosphor bronze strings (both EXP's and Elixir Nanowbs) and that richened the wrapped strings even more. It's a simple, quick and innexpensive thing to try out. I was very happy with the way my original saddle was set up so he asked me to mail it to him (sent him an email first) and he copied it only I asked him to make it a tiny bit bigger thickness size and lengthwise because my original was a little loose, but the height was just right and he did just that. I mailed it to him Priority US Mail and I think I got it back six or seven days later. When I got it, I used 400 and 600 grit paper to fine the fit as per his instructions that come with the saddle and the difference in sound was instantly noticable. I'm very new to all of this and a noob back to playing a guitar but he made this very easy.
