That looks great.  I have to contact them soon about a neck-finish issue.  I have 5 bubbles on the rear of the neck that have developed over the past 2 years.  I don't know whether they'll replace the neck or refinish the original.  Seems far too labor intensive to strip and refinish the neck when a new bolt-on would be quick to install.

That is a fine looking body - I'm a big fan of koa.  We knew they'd come through for you.  Congrats (when it gets home to you) and enjoy!
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
*Gone but not forgotten:  a 2001 414ce, 410, 354-LTD twelve string, 314-N, 416-LTD baritone, T5 Classic, 615ce, 2006 GS-K, 1996 (first year) Baby

Great looking body. Glad to hear the experience with CS turned out to be a good one.

Glad you got an update, and it is no surprise to me that the factory went above and beyond.  Post pics and feedback when it comes home!
