Hi, I came across this forum, while searching for info about Taylors. I always wanted one, but quite honestly, the price was an obstacle. Finally found a good deal on a used 2010 814ce, and went for it. Now Im afraid to take it to gigs...LOL.

Welcome! Nice guitar you got there. Yeah, I'd be a little nervous to bring it out to gigs too which is why I went with a lower priced model (also probably means I didn't need to wait as long as you did). Strange that you thought they were too expensive and then chose one of the pricier models. Enjoy it...it's a fantastic instrument.

You picked an excellent guitar - grand auditorium shape, classic spruce/rosewood wood combo, one of Taylor's finest offerings. Now all you have to do is enjoy it - play it always in good health, and have fun with it!

Welcome to the forum Webslinger60.  You chose an excellent model from the Taylor line.  One that I have always considered as their Flagship model.  My favorite body shape as well.  Congratulations.
