What really amazes me is the sound these small guitars produce. It is louder than it should be. Another thing that is striking is the tone of this mahogany. I've always thought that spruce and rosewood were the way to go, and probably they are, but Taylor seems to have the magic formula for mahogany. I have a friend who has two expensive XXXXX dreadnaught guitars in mahogany and they sound nice, but not nearly as nice as the GS Mini Mahogany guitars I've heard, including this one.
A person with a sick mind like me would think to himself, "Hmmm, perhaps I can collect all of the variations of the GS Mini?"
