I am primarily a vocalist. I am a pretty much still a novice guitarist, and was interested in bettering my guitar skills. I had an inexpensive Alvarez, but a few years ago my soon-to-be-wife bought me a Taylor 414ce! Shortly afterwards, due to a series of unfortunate events, I was unable to practice much, and just recently picked up my Taylor again. However, the poly finish on the head stock and neck was peeling, even though I took really good care of it. So Taylor had me send back the neck and they refinished the neck and did a full maintenance on it as part of the warranty.
I also had them switch out the old amplification system (ES1) with the new ES2 since they had redesigned it.
I found UTGF during this process and just now am getting around to logging in and looking forward to learning more about my Taylor and playing the guitar. So glad a forum like this exists.
