What wood is the Darker buttons you have there?  Are they LMI and did you need the longer screws?

Macassar ebony - not sure if they're still available through LMI. You do need the longer screws, because these buttons are slightly deeper than the Gotoh standard buttons. LMI has them as well.

I ordered a set of the straight koa from Charis for my K24e. (LMI never had koa.) They look great! I'll post pics when I can....

Got the Gotohs in today and I'm gonna get them on tomorrow. Not sure if I'm gonna attempt it or take it to a luthier. One thing I've noticed is that the washer on the front is smaller than the original Grover washer, so there will be a ring there but I don't care!  I'm going for it!!

Put them on today and I'm more than happy with the look and the tuners themselves!  Took me about 30 minutes to put them on and it was very easy!  I can't believe I was actually thinking about paying someone to do such an easy job!!  I think the copper goes really well with the back and sides.

All the photos are gone.  Can you post again, and give me the Part# I need to match my 814ce Dlx tuners?

Thanks!

These are a Drop-In as far as size and screw holes on the 814ce Dlx?

Just checking before I pull the trigger  :)
