Dunno if any of you have done this or if there is a previous topic on it...I searched, but didn't find anything.

So if any of you play back over the bridge as sometimes I do to change tone. I find the stock Tusq saddle to be sharply machined on the top of the ends....it digs into your palm. Simply remove it when you change strings and file/sand the ends rounder at the top edge ends. It won't affect the action, just be sure to stay away from the top side. Makes a world of difference "if" you find the sharp edges uncomfortable. You won't usually find any sharp topside ends on custom saddles, they will be rounded. And no I didn't change the stock saddle on my Taylor's they are already very bright and resonant, but have on a few other bass heavy guitars I own  ;D
