Sold my Taylor...to buy a Martin
« on: April 01, 2015, 03:46:07 PM »
After owning a Taylor for just over a year I finally threw that trash away for something that actually sounds like a guitar. If it didn't cost so much I'da just chucked it out a 50 story window. Why would anyone want to own a Taylor guitar?

Ha, missed the fun, way too busy these days. I saw the first line and thought "oh boy, another troll typing in his pajamas from his mother's basement." Then was tempted to ask you what grade you were in, but concluded... nah, not worth my energy. And that was in the first two seconds!

I bought a 2nd Taylor (150e) and am selling my Martin (see me ad in the for sale section.)  I like the Martin a lot but I like my GA3 better and don't really need two 6-strings.  Love the 150e!

You got me good, and as i scrolled down and saw nothing i thought my computer stopped loading so you even tricked me into thinking something was wrong with it! HA!

As both a Taylor and Martin owner at one time or another, they both make some great guitars :) but there are definitely people who find they prefer one over the other...

I wouldn't mind having a Taylor and a Martin, but when purchasing I had to choose;  I chose Taylor. (I'm still crossing my fingers hoping one of my late Grandfather's Martins ends up in the hands of his oldest grandchild). ;)

My wife really wouldn't care if I kept the Martin.  I've just decided that for me, two guitars is all I need (for now anyway.)
