Taylor guitar on Rising Star
« on: July 13, 2014, 10:36:24 PM »
I am seeing Taylors everywhere. Guess they have always been popular but I am more aware. Did anyone watch Rising Star tonight? Brad Paisley played one of the contestants guitars and pronounced it a "good guitar." It was a Taylor, of course, but which model?

I didn't see the show, but I agree with your observation. A lot of people play Taylors. You see them on shows, commercials, news events, etc. I will somewhat disagree with Brad and say that they are more than "good guitars". IMHO, they are great guitars built by a great company with great values.

to me, it looks like it might be an early 214ce, made in el cajon

the bridge looks a little light to be ebony & for the first couple
of years, the 200 ce models had rosewood fretboards & bridges
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...
