Battle-scarred Taylors ...share?

So, anyone care to share pics of their played-out and well-loved Taylors?

FWIW, I got to wondering about my own guitar journey over the decades: started out with cheapies, saved up for that one good one (which I freakin babied as a teen!), then come to later on in life ("later" ...as in understanding mortality, lol ) where I'm fortunate enough to now own what I really like and, well dag nab it, I'm just gonna play them and not worry bout the bumps and bruises. 

Disclaimer: I have come to the aforementioned attitude toward my electrics very well as they show honest age and wear (no "relic-ing" here nor abuse; just playing em as they should be).  But the acoustics, well..., there are these vertain two that I still feel compelled to wipe down after playing, but the others get well played and simply get hung back up on the wall.  Yet my only truly battle-scarred Taylor is my BT from '99.  Maybe my inner self is still "holding back" when I have an acoustic in my hands, who knows; I guess I'm not totally there yet.  OK, I'm a work in progress ...hahaha

So Taylor-specific playing wear: anyone got em?

Sorry, nothing from me. I'm anal with all my instruments. The Taylors still get babied and look like new. It goes back to my childhood,  having to work for what I got. I guess you can't teach old dogs new tricks. (In this case, I would be the old dog). But, they still get plenty of play time.

All my guitars are well-played and well cared for. (In fact, I remember once being sharply criticized by an old AGF member for not treating my Cujo like a museum piece - you know, never play it, keep it in a glass case,etc.) In any case, dings do occur from time to time. The cool thing is that most of my older guitars have had the good fortune to visit El Cajon for some sort of refresh/renew package with great results. As such, my older guitars only look older because the finish has darkened. And they continue to become more beautiful with age!

But I did mention that I am still a bit OCD for two of my acoustics.  I play them lots (and out, as well), but still they get that extra care that none others do.  Maybe because they are a little extra special...who knows!

Yeah, well...the wear and finish stuff doesn't bug me.  But the dent/crack does a bit.  If I had a good rock n roll story behind the dent, it'd be almost cool.  But unfortunately my Tele fell on it! (don't ask...).  My negligence is all ...ugh! 

I don't have a pic of the nice dent I put in my now-gone GA7e.  Here's the kicker: I had it for less than day, then after jamming with my then-new Taylor, I was tearing down gear and the a guitar cable was caught under a pedalboard.  I gently "looped" it (like you'd do to a rope on the ground)  to get over the board so I could reel it in ....um, not "gently" enough as the 1/4 plug flies up and then smacks right into the once pristine cedar top!  Only hours old in my possession!!  But here's the ridiculous part (as if that weren't ridiculous enough): I laughed!  So incredibly stupid a move, I couldn't help but laugh (um, after perhaps a choice expletive).  It may seem hard to believe after these two tales that I actually take great care of my gear.  They just get used ...with gusto
