Are there many 915ce owners out there. I just in the last month got one from a lady whose husband passed away 5 years ago, and was now ready to part with it. It's a beautiful guitar and just like new, my 1987 510 now has to take a back seat to it, but love them both!

Wow, very beautiful. How about the back?
I think I'd put a Taylor pickguard on it. They look better IMHO.

Very nice! But I'd have to agree with TaylorGirl about putting a Taylor PG on it. Would cost about as much as dinner for two,,,, at McDonalds.

I have  a Taylor pickgaurd that was given to me when I took my 510 into in El Cahon to have them look at pickgaurd on it. There are some small air bubbles under it but was advised to leave it alone, as it would no longer be original. I have talked to Dave at Oldtown Strings in Victoria and he said he could do the one on 915  for me.

Here is a picture of the back.

Indeed, that would definitely make me a happy picker!! :)

Congrats as that is a fairly rare bird, not to mention a great-looking guitar despite its rarity.  Enjoy that baby in good health!  :)

Beautiful guitar with its own history. I would keep it, like it is. In one or two centuries it will be THE collector's item - a Taylor with a teardrop! And isn't that what it is? You must be a happy picker.

That is a very nice Taylor.  I bet it really sings. ;)
