Hi - New to Forum

Hi everyone - new to the forum but not to Taylor guitars.  When purchasing a new guitar about 5 years ago I tried literally 100 guitars at 8 stores.  For my particular anatomy, I found I really liked the Taylor neck profile and playability on some 6xx and 8xx series guitars and then fell in love with an R Taylor Style 2 in Cocobolo and Cedar.  I play with friends who own Ryans, Goodalls, Risanyis and custom McConnells.  I have a Goodall too but reach for the R Taylor 80% of the time.  The consensus is "the R Taylor Style 2 is one of the best guitars we have ever heard".

Looking for a Style 1 or larger body BTO to add to the arsenal at some point but no rush.  In the meantime I'm interested in what others are discovering.

I guess I'm a bit naive about the model nomenclature...I suppose that the R. Taylors are really upscale custom Taylors, or special BTO instruments? Egad, they are beauts!
