Just to note that you need to have a 9V system for this installation. The older Taylors (pre-2006/2007?) have AA batteries and can't do it even if they wanted  to. https://www.taylorguitars.com/taylorsensesetup/2

So just realize that your results will be skewed toward "newer" Taylors that came with those electronics Factory installed. That's less than half of Taylor's 50 years in business (meaning it may not even apply to a whole lot of Taylor owners).
