Action on a Baby Taylor
« on: March 23, 2025, 12:00:21 PM »
Hello everyone. I've been the proud owner of a Baby Taylor guitar for two years and have enjoyed its portability. Initially, I found the action to be less than ideal, but the installation of shims in the neck did help to some extent. I'm now considering more extensive modifications to achieve even lower action. Could a luthier sand down the saddle or nut to lower the height of my low E and high E strings further? Or would installing another set of shims be a more viable option? I look forward to your feedback.
Thank you.
