A wonderful gift from my lovely wife.  We found it in a shop in East Tennessee back in October. After I played it for a bit, my wife just looked at me and said, "How can we make this happen?"  I said, "I have no idea."  She listened a bit longer and said, "Well, it will have to be your main Christmas gift."

#53-55:  Because 2020-2021 was filled with cancelled performances, missed play dates... I had sold a couple of instruments because I just didn't need that many.  As things started opening back up and my performance schedule increased I purchased three in 2021 for stage work.  None of that involved in-house/studio keepers as they aren't used (or rarely) for performance.  I picked up a new Martin SC-13E which is a fabulous performer whether in jammies or on stage, a new Taylor 717e (also superb) and a 20 year-old custom-shop Martin 0000-18 which, because of its depth, defies physics on its sound/tone.
