Hi, just wondering if Taylor makes (or made) a GA body guitar with short scale.

It sure does. I’ve seen them on some limited and on customs. you may be able to specify a short scale from a baseline production model as well - you have to check with your dealer, there may be a slight up charge bc it’s not standard production

Years ago before V-class several retailers offered exclusive 12-fret grand auditoriums that were short scale.  Since V-class came out, I haven't seen any of these offered anymore.  But the new Grand Symphony guitars, if you can live with the new sound port and a very slightly larger body (I think it is very close to a grand auditorium), all come standard as short scale 14-fret instruments.  Oh and they are designed for light gauge strings - and I think this makes for an extremely comfortable playing experience
