I'm intrigued by the wireless systems that now seem to be available from many manufacturers and am interested in trying one out in order to help reduce my tangle of cords and allow for more freedom to wander around as I play. My setup is a Taylor GA with ES2 going into a Carvin AG300 amp, sometimes with a TC 'harmony singer' pedal in the middle. So the transmitter would go into the guitar, and the receiver either into the amp or pedal, depending on whether I'm using the pedal that day.
Are folks with an ES2 having success with a particular brand and model of wireless transmitter? (Note: some of them say they are not recommended for 'active' guitars which I imagine would exclude an ES2 from those since it has a battery preamp in the chain.) Also, I'm hoping to not have to spend a fortune to get good results. What has been your experience and which would you suggest? Thanks!
