Lessee if I can do this without a sound clip!

start with index finger on e string, 1st fret; play note (f); place pinky on 4th fret and play note (g#); lift pinky, place ring finger on 3rd fret and play note (g); place pinky on 4th fret and play note (g#); repeat 3 or moretimes, then move to b string and play same pattern; repeat down to E and back up again; rest a bit and do again until your pinky drops off!

Well, here's a sound clip afterall!

1)  Similar to what M19 suggested, I've been doing the "finger gym" routine over at justinguitar.com

Man. Talk about hurt. Just tried this for about 10 minutes and my hand is throbbing.

Looks like with a daily rigor this could be the ticket to some super hand strength.

Thanks for the tip and the link!

I've been using the spider exercise too. It helps with finger and hand coordination, but nor as much with pinky stetching.
