But for this ignoramus --who btw is not averse to spending more dough when a piece of gear is demonstrably better-- I cannot fathom how such a simple device can command the price that the Elliot does. Now at the risk of appearing hypocritical, I do have G7th capos (um, four
), because I find their higher cost over the competition is justified by the quality and user-results.
By contrast, I have one Planet Waves triple-action that I likewise swear by, and it's half the price of my G7ths. But all my capos that I
have, I keep and seek no further,
because they work uber well. If it ain't broke, right?
All to say the simplest thing: I don't get it when it comes to the Elliot
