This is the Taylor 2017 Grand Concert Fall Limited Cedar/Koa guitar. Exceptional, sweet tone perfect for fingerstyle or light to medium strumming. 8 months old, case-stored in non-smoking house. These are very rare - none for sale now, that I can find. And this is an awesome example with rich figured koa! With the 12-fret design, playing is exceptionally easy with lower string tension, and the shorter length makes it comfortable to play on the couch. However, the volume is actually greater than a larger guitar, since the bridge is moved closer to the center of larger top area. Again, perfect for fingerstyle, where even a delicate touch will yield a big response.
This has a cedar top and figured koa sides and back. Cedar's natural warmth, touch sensitivity, and midrange overtones complement the koa's midrange focus and top-end fidelity, giving the guitar a more played-in sound.
Finish is a shaded edgeburst, and the koa is the same grade used for Taylor's K series guitars. The fretboard inlay is Taylor's "GA-Limited" previously used on their Series 800 guitars and is made of green abalone. The rosette is 3-ring green abalone also. Scale length is 24 7/8. Pickguard is Taylor tortoise and it comes with original Taylor Deluxe hardshell brown case. Full specs
here. There is one small, slight ding (1/8") which I have found impossible to photograph on the upper bout top. You also will never see it unless you hold the guitar up to a bright light source and tilt the guitar at just the right angle, with the guitar about a foot away. That's how I first saw it, inspecting it for sale. Otherwise this is in mint condition.
