They are Bob Colosi bone pins dyed red with abalone dots - they do look awesome, Cindy! I'm glad you can hear a tonal difference too- that's been my experience as well. Enjoy!

Could be worse, when I was a kid, my folks would get my name and the dog's name mixed up.
