Hello from Melbourne
« on: June 07, 2013, 07:03:04 PM »
Hi all,

just bought myself a T5S in Cherry Burst - was second hand and an impulse buy! I have been playing guitar on and off for many years and still am pretty much an intermediate player at best. Moved to Bass playing for the last 10+ years and now am spending more time on the guitar again as its easier to play around the family. Bought a cheap yamaha last year and a guitalele and got the bug. Was looking for an acoustic and just fell in love with the thinline style and large dimensions of the T5S - felt very comfortable moving from solid body bass guitar.

Anyway, here to learn about playing acoustic guitar and also about the T5. Although I know the T5 does a variety of sounds I am really more interested in its acoustic qualities right now.

looking forward to reading the posts here... below is my guitar

Hi ozrider. Welcome to the UTGF. Congrats on the T5. We have plenty of T5 owners, they'll get your questions answered. I've found most Taylor's to be very "comfortable" rides. Enjoy.  :)
