I don't own one but have played a GS Mini bass on several occasions, including at Road Shows (remember those?). The Mini bass is nice, but my bass needs are already covered. What I use as an amp for electric bass and for my Kala U-Bass is my old Peavey KB-60, a 60-watt keyboard amp. It has served well -- although intermittently -- as a bass amp and a portable PA for many years. Pretty bulky and heavy (that's why they invented hand trucks and mover's dollies) but that 15" cone performs pretty well. I actually bought it to test walls for STC / sound ratings years ago. I'm sure there are better choices these days, but you dance with the one who brought you.
